When I go into Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer, that little bar at the bottom that tells me drive data (Status Bar) is gone. How do I get this back?

View->Status Bar
Alternately, if this isn't keeping the changes, you can do this:
1. Close all Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer windows.
2. Open Windows Explorer.
3. Select Status Bar from the View menu. Verify that you can see the status bar at the bottom of the window.
4. Select Folder Options from the Tools menu.
5. Select the View tab
6. Click the Apply to All folders button.
