My hard drive is really slow. What should I do?

1. Defragment
2. Enable DMA on the drive
3. Update IDE Controller drivers (from your motherboard manufacturer)
4. Make sure your hard drive controller isn't in PIO mode. Try removing the IDE/ATAPI channel from the Device Manager and rebooting.
