Please feel free to join in. I'll be editing this original message each month.
Please note that I'm using ChoiceMail ONE 2.66 (Orignally using 1.6) to log my spam from month to month. Their latest version does things a whole lot better but I don't have the funds for an upgrade.

I however discovered lately that there was a catchall alias for UnderGroundNews.com; i disabled it a few nights ago and it should help a bit. Also; conley you need to check your mail, it's like 6mb lol | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 209 Member | Member Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 209 | Hm.. spam in the last year....... none. Good for your ISP; I woudln't like that feature though due to the fact that some emails from some isp's get blacklisted that contain legit content... I prefer running my own spam guard so that i can ensure that my wife hasn't sent 5 emails to me within a 60 minute period and gotten blacklisted by my ISP for spam... | | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 7 Junior Member | Junior Member Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 7 | I'm on hotmail and I get about 1 bit of spam a week, it grand, just delete it, plus hotmail does a virus check, i use it with Thunderbird so i just clear my inbox out into a local folder, unless i want to keep a mail for when i'm on the move | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 Community Owner | Community Owner Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 | Well, i haven't posted one of these in a bit...
Since 01/03/2005: 92% Spam, 15015 Messages

Now every piece of mail sent to me is routed through my spam filter lol...
I did some hardcore updating to my spam rules based on spam that's gotten through in the last few months (theres a bunch too lol).
I haven't updated my spam list in a while, so here you go... Since 09/23/2005: Total Spam: 98%, 101,536 messages. Legit Messages: 2%, 2225 messages. | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 Community Owner | Community Owner Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 | That's approximately 15 months, so 101536/15, that's ~6769 messages per month, or an average of ~223 spam messages per day (with an average of 30.42 days per month). | | |
