Maybe you guys know what's wrong here...for some reason I can't send files via MSN but I can receive them. I'm connected via a Linksys route equipped with a firewall wich can do port forwarding and is UPnP compatible. What I've done is set up port forwarding for ports 6891-6900 (MSN help files said those are the ports used for file sending) but it still doesn't work...any idea?

Settle down bp. If you're going to be blatantly flaming people for legitimate questions, you will no longer be welcome here.

I did some searching for ya and came up with a couple things:

some dude who had the same problem, and seems to have fixed it

A guide to getting this to work

A good read on UPnP and NAT
http://hometoys.com/htinews/aug01/articles/microsoft/upnp.htm

Where to go to get the lastest firmware for your router
http://www.linksys.com/

It looks like you had the right idea with the ports. I'm not sure how new your router is, but there are new releases of the firmware for linksys routers that do support UPnP.

Hope this helps.
