Reuters exclusively reported that Microsoft (MSFT.O) was hit with an EU antitrust complaint by German rival alfaview on Thursday over its bundling of video app Teams into its Office product as the bloc’s regulator prepares to investigate the U.S. tech giant. The complaint, the second after Slack, comes as the EU competition enforcer prepares to open an investigation into Microsoft on this bundling practice, a move that may incur a fine as much as 10% of the company’s global turnover.
