N00bs, when you can come by and hang out in UGN's IRC, most of the time there are elder UGN members in there who won't mind helping if really need help, and if you have tried searching for infomation yourself, but we prefer to just chat and play around...

If you have an IRC cliet connect to irc.UnderGroundNews.com 6667, then join #UnderGroundNews. If you do not have an IRC Client, then you can use the web board's Java IRC Client, http://www.UnderGroundNews.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=chat (Note, it always saids no users in chat on the board, but there is always atleast one user in the channel)

Yes... the most active times are from 12:00pm-2:00pm PST (the board time +1 hour) and from 5:00pm-12:00pm PST (the board time + 1 hour).

If you connect to the IRC through a normal client it will not register on the board as a user logging in through the board since you're logging in through a client and not the board...
