Hi,
If i want to remove linux from my harddisk...
how to do that without loosing the MBR..
i mean i should be able to boot to windows after removing linux...
how to do that...
does linux have any special commands to do that??

Just reboot with your windows CD in the drive it should reformat the drive when you do the install. I know this works with XP, what version of windows are you using? After that boot into the windows recovery console and there is a command fixmbr C: that will wipe and create a new master boot record for drive C. If it's another version i'm not really sure but i believe windows will create a new one upon installation.
