If its 'other' then name it! Also who here would, if are using something other then IE, switch back to it if IE7 is satisfactory?

The fact it is so interwoven into the OS I find it a security threat. I do not think your browser should be able to make registry changes.
Foxfire is nice. I have some issues with its some of the addons. The core browser however is standards friendly, makes a nice companion for development, Has gotten me addicted to tabed browsing, Is fast and light weight, Most of all, it is secure. If it isn't secure the patch will be out within a month. Open source is the way to go. | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 Community Owner | Community Owner Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 | Originally posted by int: I use Foxfire, IE7 would have to be much better than Foxfire for me to switch back, that integrated piece of [censored] has given me more bugs and malware. I would never go back to IE. It's not an option for me as I don't run windows.
BTW, Opera is free now... | | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3,255 Likes: 3 UGN Elite | UGN Elite Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3,255 Likes: 3 | | | | | Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 908 Likes: 1 UGN Super Poster | UGN Super Poster Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 908 Likes: 1 | Originally posted by int: No ads anymore? It tends to place margins around the page even with topmargin = "0" margin = "0" set in the BODY tag. I have even used CSS to try and kill the margins, This makes tableless layouts a bit more difficult to design for cross browser. position: absolute can end up looking quite different in the various browsers because of little things like this. Let the developers dissplay thier pages the way they want! | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 Community Owner | Community Owner Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 | | | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3,255 Likes: 3 UGN Elite | UGN Elite Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3,255 Likes: 3 | yep... in opera anyway. Still leaves a margin.
