So, a friend of mine, sent me an video, after downloading it. I right click on it to check the size of the file in the summary tab. It was blank, And I was wondering why. I know the size of the video is usually in the summary.... the "mpeg" had completely downloaded, as far as I could.

Did it fully download? I've had issues when I've tried to save something on my Vista Home Premium machine and had windows choke and save a 0 byte file...

Yes, the "mpeg" competely downloaded. My friend downloaded a movie and the information appeared in his summary tab. Currently, I'm using xp home.
