Pensacola City Florida Police officer Shawn Shields went way above and beyond the call of duty when he suggested a 16-year-old girl he had just apprehended in a state of partial undress do Jumping Jacks for his amusement and her release.

The Police Chief fired the officer and he has been ordered to write a letter of apology to the girl. The city fathers are voting on whether to pay $35,000 to the victim in compensation.

The girl�s boyfriend, also apprehended in a state of embarrassment, was not asked to do jumping jacks by the officer.

Once again where there is power there will be abuse of that power. Those that seek to go into law enforcement in many cases do not deserve to posses the power they are given. You must ask yourself about those that seek to control others and enjoy their line of work.
