UGN Security Forums UGN Security: Underground General Where to meet real hackers?

Hello, UGN guys. I was thinking if real hackers would ever show up in public forums. I think the best place to find hackers is in a UNIX or LINUX forum. Or may be a Network Security Administrator Forum. I would like to know what you guys think about this. If you have some other suggestions, please share with me.

They pop up here and there; a lot actually IRC all the time ...

In fact, I talk with Lucky225 and a couple "old schoolers" on AIM (and lucky hangs out on irc.2600.net)

I guess that is why we are not getting hacker busts very often these days. I think the government should be spending their money on real fugitives, rather than innocent and adventurous explorers.

IRL, you could try your local LUG or see/setup a 2600 meeting.
