Two Americans, whose names have not been released, have purchased their seats on a Russian Soyuz crew rockets for US$20 million a head, and they have been approved to travel to the ISS by the Russian space agency.
The sale was confirmed by the American firm responsible for space tourism. The two Americans follow the likes of American Dennis Tito and South African Mark Shuttleworth, who travelled into space in 2001 and 2002 respectively.
Two more seats are now up for grabs, and their sale would see all seats full on the Soyuz rockets until 2007.
