China has warned that "the use of force may become unavoidable", if Taiwan continues to seek independence from the mainland.
In March of next year, Taiwan will vote for a new president. An un-named mainland official said, the main goal of the mainland is to squash any attempts Taiwan makes towards achieving independence from China.
China will go to war if necessary, to keep Taiwan from gaining independence.
