A town formally named Clark, Texas has officially changed it's name to Dish, Texas. All 125 members of this town will receive free basic television and a free DVR recorder from DISH Network

"The getting our name out there is working and the second part is really to market ourselves - come here and you get something out of it," Said the mayor of the town, Bill Merritt

The contract is ten years, and DISH Network has even made the town signs which resemble DISH Network's company signs. There were no nay sayers in the town vote.

Lol free basic 'eh? I wonder if that carries over to the next plan and have it discounted? The basic sucks, have to have at least the premium for anything good...
