I'm quite new to the world of circuits. I don't have any problem in actually making circuits and I can make quite easily. But I don't understand what I'm doing and why it works. I was wondering if anyone knows a guide or tutorial that explains how to design your own circuits. I've been googling for some time with no success. If anyone knows a guide please leave a reply.

Well, you could try this site . It's actually a modding site, but you can find some great articles there. Make sure to chek their electronics forum too, it has some great links posted in it.

I could give you a page filled with links to thousands of tutorials. I suggest gjust google for: DC tutorial, AC tutorial, transistor operation, and Digital logic. that should be more than enough reading for months. If you have any specific questions about certain components and their operations feel free to drop a post and ill explain it to the best of my ability.
