Well, as some of you know, I got robbed recently by my brother (peice of [censored])... I had a PS2 N64, 3 Desktop Computers, a Laptop, 7 radio's and various other items stolen...

To answer your questions early, he lived with me for 8 months, took what he could when he could so that he wouldn't arise suspicion, then after he threatened to kill me he brought some friends over when i was sleeping and jacked the rest.

To substanciate my claim with the house insurance company I need reciepts of items that I had purchased... My problem is that I don't keep reciepts too much :-/...

For those of you who know me, you know that I'll at times leave the electronics store and throw the reciept away, or even tell them to keep it since I'm generally in a hurry to move on...

I'm curious if anyone has reciepts of any Radio/Sterio, DVD/CD/Video Game purchases between June-Presant to help me out here...

Basically what'll happen if I don't get reciepts to substanciate my claim I'll be denied, and being robbed for 40 grand worth of computer/electronics equipment plus other supplies can be quite the pain...

If you're able to help out please feel free to email me at gizmo@undergroundnews.com with what type of reciepts that you have, dates, products, prices, etc. to help me with this.

Thanks to anyone who gives half of a [censored],
Gizmo

That sucks [censored]. A few years ago my crazy homocidal cousin robbed my family's house. Her and her brother, my other cousin. [censored] crazy bitches sold everything for drug money probably. They stole all of our [censored] including, but not limited a 30" tv, both vcr's, N64 w.games, playstation w.games, NES, my entire collection of music CDs (this is what pissed me off the most because I had 50+ cds I ordered through Columbia House - You can't [censored] with someone's music collection! That's just not right!), Microwave, Stereo system (she was kind enough to leave behind the remote control - [censored] dumbass) and a bunch of other Miscellaneous [censored]. Yeeeap, she really screwed us over. She's in prison now for god only knows what.

Humm, looks like someone nuked Mary's post, no wonder I coudln't find it to add to it today...

In either case, it's kind of ironic that someone posted to this thread; our 3 year limit from the insurance company just expired so we changed back to them and bought the extra $5k insurance on electronics ($10/mo)...

Did you end up getting any receipts Gizmo?
What ended up happening to your brother, cause it wouldn't have been hard for the police to prove he took your stuff. Did he even admit to taking it or is he still denying it?

He didn't get a thing happen to him, I got recipts up to what the would cover ($5k).

Additionally; about a year AFTER this incodent he stole my trampoline at 2am...

Last ngiht he called my mom to try to get her to let him stay with her, she was all "I'm never going to let you stay with me and you know why", he's going over to her house tomorrow though to have her help him fill out papers for getting a felony removed from his record.

How annoying! That's ridiculous that nothing happened to him. And he took your trampoline? That's just wtf.

How frustrating, and its so obvious its him right? and he still does it.
