I dont think news section posts should count, or have a seperate catagory for news people.

still in favor of something like /. where you could simply only count posts of a certain category or rating. Ex, the funniest member has the most posts w/ a humor rating, the most helpful would be the most informative rated posted, flamers, pointless posts, etc.

Gives it a lot more meaning when you see the top posters each month then.

Uhh.. This is a great and everything, but has anyone thought about how we are actually gonna do this? A post is a post to the bbs, and I don't remember seeing anything in the cp about selective post counts. So who's gonna mod the board code to do this?

humm.. seperate userid for newspost? Is there a proctical way to set up more than one user? :rolleyes:

Im pretty sure there is a modification that allows you to make posts in a certain forum not count towards a users post count.

A post is a post is a post... Becides, only news poster to get anywhere near the top 10 is ice ...

And yes, there is a posts don't count hack for the UBB, and yes we do have it installed.

I still post. Not as often, and my posts will be toned down a bit, but I still post. Now SR is like a vapor around here. black^pimp has been MIA for a while, Pergesu has not posted very often, and where is unreal?

unreal got his commercial pilots license... Pergesu thinks he's not wanted since all he knows is java, and black pimp probably is smokin pot

I am very much aware that this is an old post. But eh its amazing that I can be gone for like a year and still make top poster. Haha see around guys, pretty busy.

If anybody here was ever cool enough to talk about Java stuff, I'd post a lot. And unreal's busy with his flight school and everything.

I'm still around...I mostly lurk, but I'll post every once in a while if a thread is in need of a corny one-liner. I'm pretty good at idling on IRC too.

But yeah, flight school is taking a lot of time right now. I just became a flight instructor, so now I'm adding some [censored] to that certificate, plus looking for a job. Meh.
