Hello,

As I sit here drinking on my wine I began reflecting a bit. You see I am currently learning php and the curve is different this time.

I have tried learning PHP before. However back then it was to accomplish a task I was told I could do with PHP. So what happened? I learned enough to do what I was trying to do (barely and crudely) and then dropped PHP. I became frustrated and overwhelmed arrays and the basic syntax of it all.

So here I am this time with a similar but different project in mind. The difference this time? This time my project can burn in flames for all I care. I am learning to learn and not learning just to accomplish my project. I am finding subjects I previously found difficult now quite interesting and thus easier to learn.

Well enough rambling and more drinking. I am off to merlot land and on the way ill be visiting pinot noir.

And here I thought I was the only wine drinker on UGN...

Drink makes you reflect.... wow, it usually just makes me get naked and terrorize my neighbors...but to each his own.

Not true, I enjoy a glass of whine here and there...

Well Testing (or LoanBanker), at least you have the right mindset... We're going to take and append to the other thread with useful functions to get you started; heck, we may even start a "Useful PHP Functions" thread in the Web Design section...

Vodka + RedBull ==> really fuxed up lol.

Well I love my vodka (have some greygoose in the freeezer right now ). What does the redbull do? Just a taste thing? Let me know what the mix is so I can try it (50 -50, 70-30 etc!

Think of RedBull as liquid speed you can buy at the 7-11. Personally I stay away from the [censored]. It seriously [censored] me up.

there really isnt a special mix (well i dont). I put the redbull in a glass, pure some Vodka in there and start drinking lol
