Am I the only asstart who gets misty eyed when I hear this song? This is the best Eminem song ever, and I'm not even a big fan. It's better then the pee pee song. *sniff*

Possibly the worst song to ever disgrace rap. Eminem is just embarassing himself.

I dissagree,

Having recently split from my wife/ex wife/ babys mother, the song strikes a cord with me. His reassuring his child in the song are in these situations things you "would/will" find your self saying to your child.

It is telling his daughter on her level, we couldn't work out but we both still love you.


In a day where we have songs like "Candy Shop" by 50 cent, and any other number of "[censored] anything you can" songs, I find it refreshing to look at some reality. [censored] leads to kids. Screw the wrong person and get a kid with them, and you will sound just like Eminem.

Granted it isn't about rollin on dub's, smokin herb, or digging some ho out, but it is just as real as any other rap song. And you know what else? I find it to be... *gasp*

Perg, you loser. The beat is incredibly boring, although it sounds fine. I understand the concept, and it's good one. The lyrics, on the other hand, are worthless. This is simply not a rap song. It's Eminem talking on beat. No clever rhymes, nothing. Crap.

It's not crap. I don't even like rap, but I like Eminem, and I think this song rocks. Since I'm me, I win. :p

Beats don't have to be complex at all. It's not the sickest beat ever, but it works perfectly for the song.

And he doesn't clever rhymes in there, I understand that. But this song is different from most of his songs - hell, his whole album is new. He's growing as a rapper, and it's cool to watch.

The delivery is just sick...and considering the whole point of the song, I think it's damn good.

When you start holding musicians to a lable music stops growing and evolving. So it isn't gangsta rap. It is still rap however. Research its roots. Music is constantly evolving, ever changing. The fact a hard rapper with the PR image set up for him such as eminem can do a song like this is cool.

If you start holding people/musicians to what you liked about them last year you will never get break outs like Sgt Peppers lonely hearts club band, The white album, hell rap would never have come to be. Welcome change from your favorite artists.

What they do today could be the foundation of tommorrow. Eminem has allways rapped about his most personal details of his life. This really is no different it is just missing anger and angst. There is a forgivness of kim in it for the bennifit of his daughter. This is a positive message to children listening to him.

This is growth as an artist and a person. Truely I find it to be a good song and move for him. Arguing over if it is good or not however is pointless. It is all in the ear of the beholder.
