Was truth.org really the anti-smoking campaign website? I tend to think not, due to the following information:

thetruth.com is (at least one of) the *real* website(s) of this well-known anti-smoking campaign.

internic.com's whois services report that truth.org is registered under the ownership of Tucows, Inc. Why would Tucows run The Truth's website?

Also take note that the said whois services also report that thetruth.com (the *real* anti-smoking campaign) is registered to REGISTER.COM, INC.

Is this a hoax? I'm not sure, but I tend to think so.

sorry to break it to ya...it's not hacked. I jumped to conclusion. www.thetruth.org is the real site. I went and did a web archive of thruth.org and it's always been like that i guess.

besides...as a webmaster myself i woulda pulled the plug on the site once that happened.
