I recomend learning PHP. It can give you the functionality of perl, but is as easy to learn as HTML. Plus is plays well with MySQL. MySQL can give you tons of options when designing your web page. I used to like Flash. But I had to quit using it as too many pages have flash now. You get 60 megs, as far as I know there is no ads. They say there are ads but i haven't see any on my accounts there. They don't support anything (though they were listed as a php host somewhere) but you get kinda like subaccounts where you add virtual hosts. I think it all comes out of the same 60 megs though.
