The use of "hacker" to mean "security breaker" is a confusion on the part of the mass media. We hackers refuse to recognize that meaning, and continue using the word to mean, "Someone who loves to program and enjoys being clever about it." -------------------- "Its not a bug, its a feature" (Epic Games)

I can say that and know I'm right, because commercial Unix systems cost shitloads of money. And I know he wants it free. They all come with either LILO or GRUB, so the answer is yes, it doesn't matter what variant, and it doesn't matter what you want to be able to do. | | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 815 nobody | nobody Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 815 | http://www. Umm It is called VMWare Workstation (I have ver4.02) What you do is install it on your 'Host OS' They cover a wide variety Win/*nix then it emulates hardware.. Eg: your harddrive is in a file now. You can mount an ISO as a CD, use a physical one. Give the other 'computer' some of your ram and boom install another OS and run it at the same time as your host os. I love running Slackware inside of win2k. | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 Community Owner | Community Owner Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 7,203 Likes: 11 | ::glances at neo:: it's more fun running w2k in slackware :x...
