I'm taking a WIndows 2000 COmmand Line class, but I am using XP to practice, I notice that some of the commands are not working like the book says they should work in the command line environment. Is there a reason for this? Anyone know?

Wanna be a little more specific about WHICH commands you're talking about?

But you really said it yourself... You're taking a win2k class and using XP. Of course it's not gonna be exactly the same.

I'm having trouble with the ATTRIB, TYPE, REDIRECT commands to name a few. As far as it being a win2k using an xp box, I was under the impression the command line environment was pretty much the same.
