Anyone play it?

I hate having to buy new clothes for certain missions. I like the hardware stor though

What are your thoughts?

yeah I played it, the best game so far I suppose, so many things you can do in this game I never know where to start. cant wait for its PC releas rumored to be spring 2003.

by far the best game ever for ps2, soooo many difforent kinds of missions..plus ive been known to sit there for hours just stealing cars, boats, bikes and helicopters. plus its cool when you actually start takeing over buisness's and makeing money off of them

i recommend someone to play socom. one of the baddest games for ps2 avaliable.

Here's my opinion of the game:
It kicks complete [censored], but if you have GTA 3 then it isn't worth the money right now unless you have nothing else to spend it on and love GTA 3.

The downside to me is the setting.

The addition of bikes, diving, and the new cars and weapons and [censored] is great. The steel knuckles kick [censored], running down the street just hitting people never got old.

I played the game for 6 hours straight then my friends woke up and made me stop :\

I'm playing Hitman 2 right now, and I'd say it's the best game I've ever played so far. I usually play FPS games or RPGs, but this is way different. It's first person, but it's more finesse and thinking, I guess you could say. Anyway, I'm a decent gamer and usually beat games really quickly. It took me three days to figure out how to beat the first level of Hitman 2, and that was working on it for 2 hours each day. Yeah, so you guys might think I just suck at games, but like I said, I'm pretty decent. A game that takes me three days to beat the first level scores really high in my books, cause it means I'll get to play it for more than a week. Might wanna check it out, I think it r0x0rz.

I'm also playing Hitman 2 but i'm stuck(damn weird game). but i like GTA3 better and hopefully i will get Vice City soon so i can play a real fun game=), But Hitman 2 is also a great and fun game(except it has a bug for me)

pergesu i need ur help, i'm at a level where i'm suppose to sniper my "boss"(the one who orderd me) but it's just an wooden decoration. and i can't kill people with the sniper i got from the train station(it's like it's loaded with blank bullets), and i've even killed a guard and taken his pistol and rum up to the room with the wooden plank and shot at it with both pistol and non-working sniper but nothing happend except all the other guards came. i need help here=(

Me and my friends rented Hitman 2, we got to level 4 when i left. It took so [censored] long. Really, each mission is only like a 5 minute mission, but we spent maybe 2 hours on each one figuring out how to do it.

What made the game worth playing- Running in a room with the Ballers and sending everyone flying, then dragging the bodies down the stairs.

I get pissed when i'm playing H2, if I have the 9mm I [censored] unload on the guy, you can see his body slide a little while I spend a clip and say "Motherfucker trying to shoot me [censored] off." Then move on. Fun times, fun times.

I just luuuv the gun feeling and the bodies flying and movements=D

well as far as gta vice city i havent played it but i hear nothing but good things. and hitman 2...well i just got a ps2 and im still working on that walk with one joy stick aim with the other deal

In Hitman 2- you play a hitman known as Agent 47. His weapon of choice-the "Ballers," two powerful motherfuckers. It is like Metal Gear Solid except it rules, it is fun, the story doesn't smother you, and i don't hate it.

Metal Gear Solid - i can understand why some people would like it, because some people can accept major flaws in the way the game works.

Also, why would you say hail pc then "go play pc you lamer"? The reason I said Go play gamecube is because the gamecube is considered the crappiest of the top 3 consoles. I prefer pc to console, but some games are just console games and should stay that way.

You obviously just dislike things that are awesome.

In Hitman you often got 2 choices, either you play the fun part and sneak and kill the enemies silently and tactical or you can just run and waste em all(not in every lvl perhaps) it's up 2 u=)

Forgetting about the games on the systems, we should compare....

XBOX has a built in 8 gig harddrive. You can save games on it, save pieces of a game to decrease load times (something the PS2 has problems with), download new maps or game items, and alot of games allow you to play your own music from the harddrive during the game. I don't remember all the details, but I do remember that the XBOX has the most advanced hardware.

For the most part, the ps2 comes in second hardware wise. Then gamecube.

Also, from what I have heard, XBOX Live beats the other online console play....oh wait a minute...

Then if you do take the games into consideration:

XBOX: Halo, Blinx, Splinter Cell
PS2: GTA 3/Vice City, Metal Gear Solid: something, Hitman 2
Gamecube: Metroid Prime(the only game worth buying on gamecube imo)Those mario games, Smash Bros, there are probably others...

I say Blinx because it is a platform jumper, your mario type game. Basicly, to me it seems like XBOX is the way to go.

eh, all it really boils down to is taste in games...i have a gamecube and a playstation2 and other than halo and maybe splinter cell there arent any xbox games i like...maybe if i come into a large amount of money i'll add xbox to my collection but right now im broke

Although I do think XBOX is the better system (and you're right, taste in games and opinion really like trying to rationalize what band is better) i thought that was funny too. Maddox is the funniest guy on the internet that I know of.

well more ike just GTA3, why is it that out of all games in the world its the laggiest of all, for X-mas i got a graphics card not the best but it will hold while i get money for a better one, i got a Geforce4 mx420 64meg, like I said for now, but it looks better sure, it lags way less but sometimes it lags, and i hate it out of all games!! sigh* but i mean i saw a great improvement. but id wish it was good like all the other ones, oh and does anyone have news on Vice Citys PC Release, rumors say its spring 2003 :-\

I got you all beat system wise. I bust out the super nintendo! yeah! lol, my little bro has a ps2 but he doens't live with me, so I just play the sp all the time. And GTA Vice City is fun to play, but I'm not really into the time it's set in.

The setting is what I hate most, but really I can get past it. I kind of forgot about it. Then the music comes on.

I wish that when you saved a game, it saved your options with it. Because I hate having to either a) go to the options>audio menu and turn the music all the way down, or b) flip through the radio til it is off every time i get in a car or something.

The Tec-9 is awesome, you can run around while locked on a guy and shoot him. Getting a tec-9, then killing a cop at an intersection is a good way to start the fun. After you run out of Tec-9 bullets I suggest using the cop's handgun because you can also run around with it. I heard your endurance goes up as you progress, i don't know about it though. If you tap X alot you can run pretty fast, and it is easy to escape the cops even if they are in cars, just don't get run over. If you run out of ammo, run around near their cars and hit them alot for their guns. Or steal a car and drive off til you can get a gun.

That is just something I like doing, I don't own the game so I just screw around when I play it.

GTA Vice City for PC will kick some serious [censored]. As for hitman 2, another really c00 game. Like what was said of just having fun and blasting everyone, or silent gameplay... Tiz tru. What I am curious about is what is next for the GTA series? Now the question is compare GTA 3 to Vice City... Is one better or are they equal? :+)

yeah, i got a geforce4 64mb pci, not the greatest but it still tends to lag when it reaches a certain point in time.. i hope it wont with vice city but im not keeping my hppes up too much.

It is the same with Halo and Splinter Cell on XBOX. I like all three games.

I think the next GTA should be in the future, not too far, just like 60 years. I think there should be a few secret cars that hover and go really fast but can't take much damage. No lasers, none of that gay movie future stuff. Just like a dark grungy future. Have things like streets 2 stories higher than the streets on the ground, and over population and all the cars that came out within the past year.

GTA3 was present, Vice City was past, next will be either the future or another country (anyone remember that one set in britain?).

I just hope they add more features and stuff.

But it is really annoying when people say that VC is just like GTA3. First off, it isn't just like it. Second, it isn't supposed to be some huge improvement or something. Those people are idiots.

GTA3 was fun for alot of reasons, so they kept the core game and gave you new things to do in a new setting.

Yes, the AI i think was overrated. I expected alot more, but it was still better than most console AI.

Ice- you didn't give any reasons why Halo is overrated. Personal preference doesn't count.

CN- no. Sega can make games but since the Sega Genesis they have been pulling hardware out of their [censored]. XBOX's hardware specs clearly show it is a better system. The games of course decide what system is worth a buy. Microsoft has plenty of money to put into getting XBOX on top, not to mention all the contracts game companies signed.

All the usual complaints about the XBOX are just stupid. "It's too big, it weighs more than my sister, the controller is so big I can't swallow it, it has a built in harddrive so I don't have to use those nifty memory cards." And it keeps going.

They made a smart move discontinuing the Dreamcast. They couldn't afford to keep it up because not enough people were buying it, so they stick with what they do best- games.

Do I think the XBOX will go the way of the dreamcast? No. I had a sure feeling that dreamcast would fail and it did, but I have the opposite feeling about the XBOX.

im not gonna get into a arguement about the xbox, but if you want a system like the xbox just go the extra step and get a gaming PC same difference except for a few games that never come to PC...i really just dont like the xbox's games and i've also heard some things about the companies they signed on with, and many japanese developers that pulled out...that may just be a rumor i heard i dont really have a strong opinion on the matter
