cause xbox is a gaming system. you WERE talking about putting linux on the gaming system, so it could've fit under the linux forum too. *shrug* Cause it's mixed subject, I think it would fit in the newbie and general forums too - but certainly not the Off Topic. Don't ask computer-related questions in that forum.

Well back to the subject at hand, If you would just research a bit maybe a simple glance through the forums you would see this post in gaming:
http://www.UnderGroundNews.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=000079
or this one:
http://www.UnderGroundNews.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=000073
but here this is the meat n potatoes of the info you want to see:
http://xbox-linux.sourceforge.net/
Although not exaclty for the amatuer hacker. Your going to need to install a mod chip and you will also need some linux installation experience

I think is probably easyer to install Linux on your computer, and still keep the Windows XP.

You know like two systems on the same computer.

Just my opinion.

You can do more with a computer, in general.
