Hey does anyone know if australia still uses a bluebox system and if not how do you find out? o yeah and what is the freq to get the dial tone?

99.9999% chance that most of Australia is beyond that old switching system. And what ya mean by freq to get the dial tone? Way back when you'd blow 2600 hz down the line and you'd get clicked off your current call (since 2600 hz was the "on-the-hook" tone sent over the lines), and you'd then be able to route your call as wanted.

Quick edit: There's always a chance of finding some place in the far reaches of Australia that still uses the old system. Hop in ya truck and don't mind the dingos mate. lol
