Well,
My curiosity got the better of me and I ended up opening the Telephone network interface box outside my condo, I took a pic of the insides of it and it�s a lot more user friendly than I thought it would be.




As you can see, each condo (APT) has two phone lines, the APT number is written on each box on the left side. Each phone line has its own phone plug so you can simply plug a phone into their phone line, or you can still attach alligator clips where the red and green wires are, to listen in etc.

Note- I opened the box not because Im interested in stealing/spying on my neighbors, I was simply curios. <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/angel.gif" />

Yep, good stuff. A lot of these things are lineman friendly...'course no one locks 'em apparently. :x

I have a masterlock on mine ... There are ways around the locks through, there's a key that pops the hinge out :-x...
