Take a look at what is still on your hard drive. This is a trial version. I think it works 25 times or something like that. You will be surprised at what is still there. Good tool for a newbie.

Then don't read it. This is a fairly useful tool for a newbie I think.

I see absolutely no problem with it being listed here.

I found that it actually does not do alot of the things its meant to do.

It does no whipe Free Space properly, in fact it doesnt.
It cannot delete most files.

To be honest it seems like a app that shows a load of FAT info and nothing more.

The use of "hacker" to mean "security breaker" is a confusion on the part of the mass media. We hackers refuse to recognize that meaning, and continue using the word to mean, "Someone who loves to program and enjoys being clever about it."

i heard something about how when you delete something it can still be retrieved from your hard drive since some of the magnetic stuff is still there, there are some programs that right over a certain spot on your harddrive multiple times to erase anything that was once there, is that basically what this does? or else, does anyone know where to find such a program?

Yea this will do that. That is known as Wipeing.

I use a wiper all the time. I have mine set to DOD standar of 7 wipes when it deletes a file. That means it writes over the file with random ones and zeros. If you just delete it is kinda (quoting Tech TV) like riping the index page out of a book and saying you got rid of all the info in a book.

See links below

Matter of fact just bookmark this mother [censored]...

That last one should about cover it.

What the first program I listed dose is pull up files you have "deleted". If you install it and run it to look at the C drive. Everything red has been deleted. So you thought.
