Hi!

There's a little (or quite huge) annoyace which
has been nibbling my mind for quite some time.

What's up with having Java as a web-language?
I don't like that...
Why not have sub-groups like

1) Object-oriented languages
2) Imperative- \Machine code- languages
3) Functional languages

examples would be:
Having C++ or Java in (1), C and ASM in (2)
Haskell and Lisp and Erland ... in (3).
Instead of mixing up html and such cr*p with programming?

devil devil Best regards/zen

It's not popular enough to warrent seperating it into it's own section. As for renaming everything it'd be a pain in the [censored] as most items can be encompased in the current sections. "Web Languages" is pretty much just an "other" forum; as Java CAN be used in web development it's been assigned there

Yes, what you say it true; Java can be used in web development.
Just a little suggestion from me then: Can we change the name to "Other", like you said yourself?

Cheers./zen
