Allen Jasson, a passenger who was banned from a Qantas flight in December for a T-Shirt depicting President Bush as the "World's Number One Terrorist" (SN reported), has been banned once more trying to fly from Melbourne to London.

In the December incident, Jasson changed his shirt when it was challenged as offensive. This time, however, he made the decision to "... stand up for the principle of free speech," according to interviews in the Australian press.

Jasson is threatening legal action against the airline. Qantas stated that "Whether made verbally or on a T-shirt, comments with the potential to offend other customers or threaten the security of a Qantas group aircraft will not be tolerated".

hm, I think the fact that it offends is true enuogh to not let him on. Besides he can protest all he wants on public grounds but not on a private jet with other paying customers on board. That's my two cents anyways.
You have a point, however... the conservative movement(and actually the liberal too) in this country is to privatize everything. Even national parks and grounds. In this country they have started setting up free speech zones. Places off to the side where a protest will have little or no effect.

This directly violates our founding laws. Check this out. What they are saying is you have the right to protest. But you do not have the right to protest where anyone can hear you.

I love that statement, because it is true...
