Viacom Inc. and EchoStar have announced today that they have ended their contractual dispute. EchoStar viewers have had CBS programs restored.

EchoStar viewers will have their Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central and others owned by Viacom back. The Nicktoon channel will be available this spring.

The two companies extended the contract to carry channels Spike TV, CMT and TV Land.
