Funny paper shredder identity Theft Commercial - 02/19/05 06:33 AM
Came across this funny commercial today. This man was explaining the dangers of throwing away banks statments, CC bills etc, all the while going thru some mans garbage, Then the man(identity theft victim) pulls up in his driveway as our ID thief turns around says "Hey Bill" and poor Bill has this look on his face as if he is saying "Do I know this guy" then the commercial cut to some jack off placing some document in a waste basket sized shredder.
But now here is my argument........
I just happen to live in a neighborhood where ppl own paper shredders..How do I know this? Well one night I went to the bo da ga for a few sprituals beverage's...This just happens to be on garbage night...En Route I was able to find 12 houses with shredders HOW YOU SAY? They were using clear bags to thow away the shredd's.. What is to stop some one with evil intent, ALOT of patience and a few rolls of tape from getting "information".
Sadly the system is set up for identity theft to occur...
Paper is a recyclable and all recyclables must be in clear bags or there is a fine..
