Well i didn't visit UGN when they owned it, but what do you think guys, is UGN more visited now or it was more visited back when they owned him ?

I'd really like Gizmo's opinion about this since he was a news administrator that time before he took it over.

Yes, I am still alive and well.
I stop by every once in a while just to see whats going on. I see Gizmo doing a good job and keeping the content fresh. I pretty much left this scene behind, since I don't have much time for it.

The Administration is different and better in some ways and worse in others. Back in the day when i first joined it was just optix and Black Beard and it went well. The traffic started to pick up here and more administrators were needed so ice dog came in to the picture and he and optix hit it off rather well. Eventually down the road Mr. Optix was having personal issues so he made me an administrator for ugn (My personal opinion of when it was at its high). But over the next few months ugn degraded to what it was when beard quit. For the longest time ugn was going to be given to me and Ice Dog, he and i were going to co-own it, but ice and i didn't get along after the first irc meeting, him and optix had seemed to flip. So i turned in my Admin ship and basically left. At first i was weary about gizmo owning this board because he had been banned serveral times from it for some reason or another. But it hasn't turned out all that bad. Props mr. Gizmo You did better then expected.

I liked Icedog, I liked beared, I liked gizmo after we talked a little. optix.... I was in different till he went on a banning spree. Icedog soon followed. Then optix tryed to tell me what I could say on MY(now gizmo's) site. I like it here without Optix as adm8n. but I never had a problem with anyone but him.

I had no problems with Optix or Ice, they both helped me out when they could. But I also really like Gizmo, SR and unreal. Oh...yeah...Curse *cough*

So in conclusion, they are both good!

I have two kids, an 11 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. I do web development and server/security consulting.

I had an old Commodore here, had to part with it though, just too much older stuff lingering about.

Not really much traffic going on since Crime purged the gaming section years ago; still tons of traffic though. My most active site at this point is a gardening one, or the forum development site (a colleague and myself both do the coding for UBB.threads, the forum software running the site).

Just staying busy on my end, doing infosec consulting. Which probably stemmed from this foundation.

Old hardware is so much fun. I did a couple old tube amps, been looking into maybe doing an old DOS system. Have you seen lazy gamer reviews? He has some good stuff. I'll definitely check into that site. Thank you!
