Ok, I have some of the basic priciples down. Like you only need a wardialer if you are searching for somehting to hack. Ok, moving on I have telnet and I want to try to hack my friends computer to test it. What from there?

No, wardialing is only for Modems. It became popular because of the 1983 movie "WarGames"

You need to do some more reading, Wardailing is when you have a list of phone numbers then dial each one and try to find a unprotected Modem.

Not many people use wardialing anymore.
