On New Years, some friends were over and screwing with my PC. They apparently managed to get my IP banned from a message board that I frequent. Now, I can't get in unless I reconnect like 500 times until I get a IP addy that isn't banned. Is there anyway to fix this? I know there are ways to get a anonymous IP address, but I have no idea how. Can anyone help me out? <img border="0" alt="[[censored]]" title="" src="graemlins/[censored].gif" />

You could try emailing the site admin and explaining the situation to him/her. Maybe if you catch em on a good day they'll lift the ban.

Many places now are going to IP/VPN. If you are in collage or in school find out if the staff gets into the network remotely(from home). If so you may be in luck. Next you need to find out if they are using IP/VPN internet Protocol/Virtual Private network. Get the VPN client they use. Usally there is a password or token that goes with this.

Once you have that installed and working you will be connected through your schools network. New IP. get thier proxy settings and >BAM< you are surfing behind a proxy server.
